Who should apply
We're looking for proactive, detail-oriented interns to help build and maintain our Knowledge Management vertical. In modern legal practice, success rests on the speed and accuracy of information, and your work will keep the chambers current with legal developments.
Key responsibilities
- Database management: every day, download, log and categorise judgments delivered by the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the Orissa High Court and the Appellate Tribunal for Forfeited Property (ATFP).
- Litigation support: assist the team with legal research and attend daily court proceedings for practical exposure.
- Weekly case-law briefings: lead and take part in a structured discussion of the significant judgments of the previous seven days and their impact on our active matters.
What we look for
Interns who see legal research as a way to build the chambers' collective memory, not just a task. You should have a sharp eye for telling landmark orders from routine ones, and the discipline to keep an organised digital archive.
